Approved a new lease for 415 s/f of space at the Cyril E. King Airport Terminal to be used as a welcome center and lounge for guests of the Marriott Frenchman’s Reef Resort & Spa and the Noni Beach Hotel at a rate of $75 per s/f ($2,593.75 per month). RFP for Rental Car Parking Service at the Enighed Pond Gravel Lot, St. John Authorized the Executive Director to issue a Request for Proposals seeking one licensed rental car agency to provide a rental car parking service at the Enighed Pond gravel lot. Armed Security Guard Services at the Austin “Babe” Monsanto Marine Terminal and Crown Bay Center Awarded a contract to ProSec, LLC to provide overnight armed guard security services at the ABMMT and Crown Bay Center at a rate of $17 per hour, per officer. PROJECTS & OPERATIONS COMMITTEE Henry E. Rohlsen Airport Terminal Fire Suppression System Replacement Awarded a $110,942.50 contract to Phoenix Fire Protection to install a fire suppression system at the HERA Terminal. PERSONNEL COMMITTEE Request to Hire One Additional Law Enforcement Officer - STT/STJ District Authorized the Executive Director to recruit and hire one additional law enforcement officer for the VIPA St. Thomas/St. John district. EXECUTIVE SESSION 1. Selected legal counsel for VIPA’s Board of Governors. 2. Approved a draft settlement between VIPA and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
