The conference will host insurance regulators from the 50 states, the District of Columbia and the 5 U.S. territories. Lt. Governor Potter serves as the territory’s Commissioner of Insurance. Through the NAIC, state insurance regulators establish standards and best practices, conduct peer review, and coordinate their regulatory oversight. The NAIC Executive Committee Interim/Mid-Year Commissioners Roundtable Meeting is being held in Whitefish Lake, Montana. In accordance with the Revised Organic Act, Senate President Neville James will serve as Acting Lieutenant Governor. Lt. Governor Potter will return to the territory on July 15, 2015. # # #
