ATNO. 8290 BILL NO. 33-0266 THIRTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2020 An Act appropriating $2,142,199 from the General Fund to the GERS-3% Increase to Employer’s Contribution balance in the Miscellaneous section of the FY 2020 budget for the payment of the 3% increase to the Employer Contribution Rate Effective January 1, 2020 ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Act No. 8123, Section 2, category “NEW GERS-3% Increase to Employer’s Contribution” as amended by Act 8247, Section 3 is amended by striking “$7,250,000” and inserting “$9,392,199” in its place. SECTION 2. The additional funding of $2,142,199 appropriated in Section 1 of this act must be allocated to the following agencies for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2020. …
