ACTNO. 8748 BILL NO. 35-0155 THIRTY-FIFTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2023 An Act providing an appropriation from the Caribbean Basin Initiative Fund as a contribution to the General Fund of the Treasury of the Virgin Islands for the fiscal year October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2024 ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other law, the following sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from funds available in the Caribbean Basin Initiative Fund, created pursuant to Title 19 United States Code, § 2701 et. seg. (Public Law 98-67), as a contribution to the General Fund of the Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands for fiscal year October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2024. 3015 CARIBBEAN BASIN INITIATIVE FUND FY 2024 390 DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AS A CONTRIBUTION TO THE GENERAL FUND $8,500,000 TOTAL 390 DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE $8,500,000 TOTAL 3015 CARIBBEAN BASIN INITIATIVE FUND $8,500,000 Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on September 22, 2023. …
