Part HL. chapter 43 relating to traftie fines ~ ---()--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION Lb. Tide 20 Virgin Islands Code. Part TL chapter 43 1s amended by adding secuion 313 that reads as follows: The fines collected under Part Hoof this utle must be distributed as folfows: (li 20 percent must be covered over to the Bureau oF Motor Vehicles: (21 60 percent must be covered over to the Virgin fslands Police Departinent divided equally between the district of St Croix and the district of St. Thomas and St. John and a portion to be used to develop and supply citation books tor the Virgin Islands Police Department. including citation books tor animal cruelly offenses, and Gh 20 percent of fines and diseretionary fines must be covered over te the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands.” Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on May 9. …
