Gibson or Messrs (ibson and Gib- son, representing the Spanish river pulp and paper miils, to the effect that therve 1s no truth in the rumer that the paper output of this country would be corneréd in America. Mr. Gibson is quoted as saying that newsprint will irerease in value, but the Cenadlan publishers will be iooked after. More than eightv per cent of the customers of the Spanish river pulp and paper mills comp.ny are in the United States, he said, and natural- ly the greatest quantity must go where the market is.
