’ ACT NO. 798% BILL NO. 32-0005 THIRTY-SECOND LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2017 An Act amending title 33, sections 42 and 54 of the Virgin Islands Code to enhance revenues for the Territory of the United States Virgin Islands as a part of the implementation of initiatives set forth in the Government's Five-Year Financial Plan towards attaining fiscal stability and economic growth, und for other purposes. including the establishment of a new timeshare fee, all through enactment of “The Virgin Islands Revenue Enhancement and Economic Recovery Act of 2017”; and making appropriations of $600,000 from the Tourism Revolving Fund to the Department of Tourism for a special United States marketing campaign for duty-free shipping in the Virgin Islands and $25,000 from the St. Croix Capital Improvement Fund to conduct an economic impact analysis of the economic enhancement and revenue recovery measures under this act o--()--- SECTION 1.
