Sa SAR it A TRAE TN A TEASER i Se a ACT NO, 7094 BILL NO. 28-0139 TWENTY-EIGHTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2009 An Act ratifying the Lease between the Department of Planning and Natural Resources and SURTEP Enterprises, Inc and Coastal Zone Permit CZT-10-08 (L) and authorizing the Department of Planning and Natural Resources to grant SURTEP Enterprises, Inc. a 50-year Lease Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. (a) Notwithstanding the lease term limit prescribed in title 12 Virgin Islands Code Chapter 21, section 911 (d) (2), the Commissioner of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources may grant a lease to SURTEP Enterprises, Inc. for a term of 50 years. (b) This section may not be construed as authorizing the renewal of the Lease in subsection (a) for any additional term of 50 years, or for any other term in excess of the term limit prescribed in title 12 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 21, section (d) (2).
