The following sums, or so much thereof as may be necessary, are 2 appropriated from the General Fund of the Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands 3 for the operating expenses, including maintenance, supplies and equipment, and other purposes 4 of the Virgin Islands Government Hospitals and Health Facilities Corporation for the fiscal 5 year October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025. 6 0100 GENERAL FUND FY 2025 7 7110 SCHNEIDER REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER $29,250,000 8 SCHNEIDER REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER – UTITLIES $ 3,500,000 9 TOTAL 7110 SCHNEIDER REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER $32,750,000 10 7110 JUAN F. LUIS HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL CENTER $27,750,000 11 JUAN F. LUIS HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL CENTER – UTILITES $ 3,500,000 12 TOTAL 7110 JUAN F. LUIS HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL CENTER $31,250,000 13 2 TOTAL HOSPITAL AND HEALTH FACILITIES CORPORATION $64,000,000 1 TOTAL 0100 GENERAL FUND $64,000,000 2 BILL SUMMARY 3 This bill appropriates $64,000,000 from the General Fund of the Treasury of the 4 Government of the Virgin Islands, of which $32,750,000 is appropriated to the Roy Lester 5 Schneider Regional Medical Center and $31,250,000 is appropriated to the Governor Juan F. 6 Luis Hospital and Medical Center for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025. 7 BR24-1299/BUDGET/September 18, 2024 8
