ACTNO, 8006 BILL NO. 32-0111 THIRTY-SECOND LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2017 An Act to amend title 1 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 11 to establish September as Virgin Islands Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and to require an annual proclamation by the Governor of the Virgin Islands a-0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title | Virgin Islands Code, chapter 11 is amended by adding section 2001 to read as follows: §200i. (a) The month of September each year is designated as Virgin Islands Prostate and Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month; and (b) The Governor shall issue an annual proclamation calling upon public officials, private organizations, and all citizens of the Territory to observe this month with appropriate activities and events.” Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on June 28, 2017.
