Merwin, Chair- man of the Colonial Council of St. Croix, gave a Banquet at his residence, ' Lib- erty Hall’’, Frederiksted on the evering of Friday, February 8, 1924, in honor of the Federal Commissioners, with a view of their meeting Members of the Cuio- nial Counecil. Invitations were issued througzh their Chairman to Members of the Colenial Council of St. Thomas and St. John who had arrived on this island on the pre- vious day to meet the Colonial Council of St, Croix in jcint session, but as ar- rangements had been previously made for the return trip thet very day, it was not possible for them to attend.
