Upon the arrival of the responding officers, it was disclosed to that Mr. Clarence Nisbett burned the victim. Detectives of the Criminal Investigation Bureau were assigned to investigate the matter. The Investigation revealed that Mr. Clarence Nisbett threw hot coffee in the victim’s face, causing injuries. Thereafter an arrest warrant was sought and obtained for Mr. Clarence Nisbett’s arrest from the Superior Court on April 20, 2023, for the charge of Assault in the Second Degree. …

On April 28, 2023, members of the Criminal Investigation Bureau executed the warrant on 50-year-old Clarence Nisbett. He was placed under arrest at 2:07 p.m. without incident. Mr. Nisbett was booked and unable to post the bail set at $50,000.00. He was then transported to the John Bell Correctional Facility pending his Advice of Rights Hearing set for May 1, 2023. - END -
