ACTNO, 7350 BILL NO. 29-0108 TWENTY-NINTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2012 An Act authorizing the Governor to negotiate for the purchase or exchange of real property on St. Thomas for a car racing track and for other related purposes ---0--- - Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. The Government of the Virgin Islands may negotiate with any owner of real property on the Island of St. Thomas for the purchase or exchange of real property for the development of a car racing track, including negotiating the conveyance of real property to the Government in lieu of the payment of, or to satisfy a debt resulting from the non-payment of real property taxes owed to the Government pursuant to 33 V.I.C. § 2494a. SECTION 2. The Government shall identify any property available for purchase or exchange and submit a report to the Legislature no later than 180 days after the enactment of this Act. SECTION 3. …
