ACTNO. 8527 BILL NO. 34-0035 THIRTY-FOURTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2021 An Act repealing title 16 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 1, subchapter III, section 61 requiring a wife to bear the surname of her husband -0- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 16 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 1, subchapter III, section 61 is repealed. Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on December 23, 2021.
