ON Monday, August 29, 1921, at one o’clock p. m., the Colonial Council of St. Croix held its second ordinary meeting for the present elective period in the Colonial Council Hall in Christian- sted. Th: foliowing members were p.esent: The Vice-Chairman (Coulter), Robt. N. Skeoch, A. V. Nelthropp, M. M. Skeoch, D. Noll J. L. Curry, A. R. Mc Intosh. A. J. Blackwood, G. B. Fleming, K. Headerson, J. Andersen. : 2nd Member for Frederiksted Town (Merwin) and 4th Member for Christian- sted Country Distriet (Ramsay) were ab- sent. Sir: ‘ The Governor directs me to transmit ' herewith an estimate submitted by the Public Works Officer as to the probable cost of installation of water supply sys- tems. Christiansted and Frederiksted, for the information and such action as the Council may see fit to take. The Governor expresses the hope that l the Council may, at its next meeting, appoint a committee for the purpose of ! studying these plins and submitting re- commendations .0 the Council. ; Very respectfully, | C.
