Governor Oman attended the meeting of the Colonial Council for the Municipal- ity of St. Croix yesterday. The Ordi- nance relating to the new code of laws was under discussion. The U. S. S. MURRAY sailed for San Juan enroute to the United States this morning. The U. S. S San Francisco will sail hence tomorrow morning after coaling. NEWS OF THE DAY. Major W. M. Small, U. S. M. C. Lieute- nant Commander Ralph H. Jenkins, Medical Corps, U. S. N., Colonial “oun- cilman Douglas Armstrong and Mr. Harry Armstrong of the St. Croix Tennis Club arrived last evening to represent St. Croix in the tennis matches to be played on the courts of the St. Thomas Tennis Club, commencing this afternoon for the Championship of the Virgin Islands of the United States.
