COMMITTEE ON CULTURE, YOUTH, AGING, SPORTS AND PARKS BILL NO. 36-0295 Thirty-Sixth Legislature of the Virgin Islands May 8, 2026 An act amending Act No. 8951 to extend the disbursement dates of the funds appropriated from the Community Facilities Trust Account to the Department of Sports, Parks, and Recreation, for the construction of an equestrian training facility in Estate Body Slob, St. Croix, Virgin Islands PROPOSED BY: Senator Angel L. Bolques, Jr. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: 1 SECTION 1. Act No. 8951, subsection (a) is amended by striking “2025” and inserting 2 “2026” and striking “2026” and inserting “2027”. 3 BILL SUMMARY 4 This bill amends Act No. 8951 by extending, by one year, the disbursement dates of the 5 funds appropriated from the Community Facilities Trust Account to the Department of Sports, 6 Parks, and Recreation, for the construction of an equestrian training facility in Estate Body 7 Slob, St. Croix, Virgin Islands. 8 BR26-1131/May 7, 2026/GC 9
