COMMITTEE ON BUDGET, APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE BILL NO. 36-0045 Thirty-Sixth Legislature of the Virgin Islands March 28, 2025 An Act appropriating the sum of $400,000 from the Tourism Advertising Revolving Fund to the Virgin Islands Taxicab Commission for the implementation of technological upgrades PROPOSED BY: Senator Angel L. Bolques, Jr. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: 1 SECTION 1. (a) Notwithstanding the use restrictions in 33 V.I.C. §3072(c), there is 2 appropriated in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025, the sum of $400,000 from the 3 Tourism Advertising Revolving Fund to the Virgin Islands Taxicab Commission for the 4 implementation of technological upgrades, including the digitization of paper records and files 5 and collaborating with B.I.T. to advise on the most suitable equipment and software for the 6 technological upgrades. 7 (b) The funds appropriated in section 1 remain available until expended. …
