T is hereby made known that the Horse, Carriage and Boat Tax for the 2nd half »year 1920 will be received by the Director of Police in Christiansted and Frederiksted from July 20 until August 10, 1920, both days included, after which the list of arrears will be transmitted to the Director of Police for further meas- ures. Fach debtor of tax will be subject- | ed toafine of Fres, 1.00 if the tax be i under Fres 25,00 and f'res. 2.00 if the tax be 'res. 25.00 or above, besides the ordinary levy 2xpenses. The tax lists will be distributed by the ' Police in conformity with the Ordinance of February 22 1358, on the 18t of July 1920 to be returned to the Director -of Police within 48 hours in the town and ' 4 days in the country.
