ACTNO.8 875 BILL NO. 35-0275 THIRTY-FIFTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2024 An Act appropriating the sum of $2,111,507.10 from the General Fund of the Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands to the Department of Health for payment of services rendered by Pafford Medical Services to the Caribbean Kidney Center pant | ee Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. (a) The sum of $2,111,507.10 is appropriated in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2024, from the General Fund of the Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands to the Department of Health for the arrearage owed and projected costs to Pafford Medical Services for services rendered to the Caribbean Kidney Center for the period of October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2024. (b) The Department of Health may not disburse the funds appropriated in subsection (a) before the Caribbean Kidney Center approves each invoice received from Pafford Medical Services. (c) The funds appropriated in subsection (a) remain available until expended. …
