ACT NO, 738% BILL NO. 29-0291 TWENTY-NINTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2012 An Act authorizing the Department of Property and Procurement in collaboration with the Economic Development Authority and the Department of Tourism to develop and solicit proposals for the development and construction of a water and adventure park on the island of St. Croix a--0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. The Department of Property & Procurement in collaboration with the Economic Development Authority and the Department of Tourism shall develop and solicit proposals for the development and construction of an Adventure Park to be identified as “The St. Croix Cultural, Historical & Ecological Adventure Park” within six (6) months from enactment of this Act. The proposal may include opportunities for private-public partnership and/or the issuance of private activity bonds through the Virgin Islands Public Finance Authority. Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on August 21, 2012. …
