2017 UVI’s “55 for 55”: The Great Alumni Challenge In celebration of the Emerald Anniversary of the University of the Virgin Islands, alumni are again asked to make history by achieving a 55% alumni participation rate in honor of the institution’s 55th birthday. Alumni (and Friends) who make a contribution in the amount of $55 or greater, will automatically qualify for the UVI Alumni Challenge Promotion. Winners of the 55th anniversary promotion prize will receive: Round-trip ticket for two (2) from your respective country to America’s Capitol; Washington, D.C. Two (2) nights and three (3) days hotel accommodations in downtown Washington, D.C. Two (2) tickets to visit The Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture which recently opened on September 24, 2016. …

2017 UVI’s “55 for 55”: The Great Alumni Challenge In celebration of the Emerald Anniversary of the University of the Virgin Islands, alumni are again asked to make history by achieving a 55% alumni participation rate in honor of the institution’s 55th birthday. Alumni (and Friends) who make a contribution in the amount of $55 or greater, will automatically qualify for the UVI Alumni Challenge Promotion. Winners of the 55th anniversary promotion prize will receive: Round-trip ticket for two (2) from your respective country to America’s Capitol; Washington, D.C. To learn more >>> Inside-the-national-Museum-of-African-American-History-and-Culture UVI 55th Anniversary Promotion Rules: Winners must be graduates of the College of the Virgin Islands and/or University of the Virgin Islands One winner will be selected from each of the following zones: Zone 1: St. Kitts - Nevis, Anguilla-St. Eustatius-Saba, St. Maarten, Antigua- Barbuda-Monserrat, Grenada-St. Vincent, Dominica-St. Lucia, and all other Leeward Islands. Zone 2: British Virgin Islands, United States Virgin Islands, United States mainland, Canada, and the Pacific. Alumni contributions can be made towards academic scholarship programs which 100% will be designated to assist a student in need. Contributions made on behalf of alumni who are on military deployment can be made by spouse, sibling, and parent and is subject to verification. Prizes are non-transferable. Employees of UVI’s Development and Alumni Affairs are not eligible to participate in this promotion. Promotion ends at midnight on September 30, 2017.
