U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS - The Virgin Islands Department of Human Services (VIDHS), Division of Family Assistance (DFA) is advising the community that the SNAP Certification units in the St. Thomas and St. Croix districts will have an early closure on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm to allow staff the opportunity to participate in an end of the month meeting. In an effort to better serve our clients’ needs and ensure that the USVI adheres to the federal guidelines, as set forth by the program requirements, the entire certification units will be attending a mandatory month end meeting. The VI Department of Human Services apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this early closure. …
