ACTNO. 8362 BILL NO. 33-0412 THIRTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2020 An Act making an appropriation of $30,000 to the University of the Virgin Islands as a grant to the League of Women Voters to conduct an educational campaign on the referendum to be held at the November 2020 General Election Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. (a) From the balance of proceeds from the sale of the Centennial License Plates remaining in the coffers of the now defunct Centennial Commission, the sum of $30,000 is appropriated in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2020, to the University of the Virgin Islands as grant to the League of Women Voters to conduct a public education campaign to assist voters in understanding the referendum on the November 2020 General Election Ballot to convene a Constitutional Convention to consider adopting the Revised Organic Act of the Virgin Islands, or portions of it, as the Constitution of the Virgin Islands. …
