ACT NO, 7526 BILL NO. 30-0128 THIRTIETH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2013 An Act to authorize the Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation to develop a comprehensive master plan for the development of the publicly owned lands at, Altona Lagoon, St. Croix as a public park and recreational area ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. The Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation is authorized to develop a comprehensive master plan for the development of the publicly owned lands, at Altona Lagoon, St. Croix, as a public park and recreational area. SECTION 2. The Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation shall prepare a plan for the promotion and development of adventure tourism and other recreation and economic activities on St. Croix. Adventure tourism includes, but is not limited to equine and motorized trail riding, rock climbing, kayaking, hang gliding and zip lining. …
