COMMITTEE ON RULES AND JUDICIARY BILL NO. 36-0140 Thirty-Sixth Legislature of the Virgin Islands August 26, 2025 An act amending title 3 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 22, section 403, clarifying the term of service for members of the Historic Preservation Commission PROPOSED BY: Senator Avery L. Lewis Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: 1 SECTION 1. Title 3 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 22, section 403, subsection (c), is 2 amended by striking the first sentence and inserting “All members of the Commission shall 3 serve a term of two years.” 4 BILL SUMMARY 5 This bill clarifies the term of service for members of the Historic Preservation 6 Commission. 7 BR25-0646A/July 22, 2025/LMW 8
