THE VIRGIN ISLANDS POLICE DEPARTMENT “To Protect and Serve” Office of the Commissioner AAF Justice Complex, 5400 Veterans Drive St. Thomas, 00802 * (340) 774-2211 Administrative Services Building 45 Mars Hill, Frederiksted St. Croix, 00840 * (340) 778-2211 www.vipd.vi.gov VIPD RELEASE- 060123-175 For Immediate Media Distribution Women’s Race Traffic Advisory St. Croix- On Sunday June 4th the Annual Women’s Race will take place in Frederiksted during the hours of 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Restrictions are as follows: NO PARKING will be allowed on King Street and Strand Street from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Any vehicles found parked on King Street and Strand Street during this temporary road closure will be towed at the owner’s expense. Additionally, no traffic will be allowed onto King Street and Strand Street between 4:00 p.m. until the race has concluded. Motorists are strongly advised to take alternate routes. ###
