The objective of the audit was to determine whether VITEMA accounted for and in compliance with financial and program regulations. EMPG funds may be used to develop, maintain, and improve and local emergency management programs. The objective of the program is to provide support for comprehensive emergency management programs that include terrorism consequence management at the state and local levels, and mitigation, preparedness, and response and recovery capabilities for all hazards. …
