BILL NO. 30-0247 THIRTIETH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2013 An Act approving the purchase of Parcel No. 1-2 Estate Bovoni, Nos. 1 and 2 Frenchman’s Bay Quarter, St Thomas Virgin Islands and the Government’s acceptance of a gift of a five-percent, undivided interest in Bovoni Cay for inclusion into the Territory’s park system ---0--- WHEREAS, the Governor has expressed in writing that the purchase of Parcel No. 1-2 Estate Bovoni, Nos. 1 and 2 Frenchman’s Bay Quarter, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands and the acceptance of a gift of an undivided five-percent interest in Bovoni Cay are needed to give the Government 100% ownership and control over Bovoni Cay, which will be incorporated into the Territory’s park system for the benefit of the people of the Virgin Islands; and WHEREAS, the Government of the Virgin Islands and Mark Imowitz, as Co-trustee of the Patti Birch 1991 Trust, have entered into a contract of sale for the purchase of Parcel No. 1-2 Estate Bovoni, Nos. …
