The Harding M.mori- al Stamp is the same shape &nlsize as the current 2 cent stamp and bears the portrait ol Warren G. Harding within @n oval and partly enclosed in a pancl which is suppor: :d on either side by acanihus serolls. Above the poriraic within a curved panel appear the words "tnited States Postage’ in white roman eapital letters. On a ribbon below tn 2 oval 1s the name ‘Harding’, and under this at the bottom of the stamp anpears the words ‘Cents.” In both lower corners within ovals with dark cackgrounds is she white numeral '2’. In theupper left- hand corner appears the vear of birth, ‘1855, and in the upper right-hand corner the .year of death, ‘1923’. 'The entire stamp is enclosed within 1 plain black border.
