T is hereby brought to public notice l that the OUrdinance providing for a compiled Code of Laws for St. Croix, as passed by the Colonial Council for St Croix at its extraordinary meeting held on 17th May 1920, has been sanctioned and approved as follows : “The hereto attached draft of Ordi- nance consisting of four titles as fol- lows: Title II - Civil L.aw Title 111 - Civil Procedure Titie IV - Criminal Law Title V. - Criminal Procedure, which was passed by the Colonial Coun- cil for St. Croix, on Monday, May 17th, 1920, is hereby sanctioned and approved to take effect and be in full force in all its provisions at and on August Ist, 1920, at 12:01 o’clock a. m. (t is turther directed that the Govern- ment Secretary place on file for public nerngal, copies of this Ordinance, in the following public offices, viz: The Police Office at Christiansted, The Police Office at King’s Hill, The Police Office at Frederiksted, The Despatching Secretary’s Office, and tha* the Govermment Secretary transmit a copy to each newspaper pub- lished at St. Croix.
