ACTNO. 76477 BILL NO. 30-0450 THIRTIETH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2014 An Act appropriating $100,000 to the University of the Virgin Islands to establish the Distinguished Professorship in International Relations and Diplomacy and naming the airport access road on St. Thomas in honor of Ambassador Terence Alphonso Todman --0--- WHEREAS, Terence Alphonso Todman was born on St. Thomas on March 13, 1926, the son of Alphonso Todman and Rachael Callwood, and was one of thirteen siblings; and WHEREAS, his early education was in the in the Virgin Islands, graduating from the Charlotte Amalie High School on St. Thomas in 1944; and WHEREAS, immediately after graduation from high school , Terence Todman entered college at Inter-American University in Puerto Rico, but interrupted his studies when he was drafted into the U.S. Army in the final year of World War II; and WHEREAS, during his service in the U.S. …
