Request of Four Winds Plaza for Inspection 02. Final Report - Ground Penetrating Radar Investigation - St. Thomas Esso Oas Station Site, May 1992. Figure 2 of Document 02., above is also Exhibit A of Document 01., above. The main thrust of the investigation which is being proposed is to more fully characterize the physical properties of the anomaly described in Document 01., above, by means of ^^^refully digging layers of soil above the anomaly so as to determine what it is composed of. The additional thrust of the investigation le to establish, by means of dye-tests, plumber snakes, water tests Etc., tne connections, if any, between the several components of the former and/or present waste-oil storage, handling, and/or management systems. No soil or otherwise samples are expected to be collected during the proposed investigation although technicians will be on hand to collect samples If the need to do, so ehould arise during the investigation. It is not expected that a wide area will be excavated. If all goes well, only an area the width of the digger scoop will be excavated, although It Is not limited to that, should field findings warrant otherwise. We do trust that the above and the attached documents will adequately describe the scope of the proposed investigation.
