Is equipment (i.e., FFE + Medical) included in base bid? Should it be offered as an alternate bid? A. Refer to bid form alternates required. Can you please provide a complete topographic survey of the entire project site for all three phases of this program? A. JFL to evaluate providing this information. Witt Obriens provided their recommendation on email (subject: THS RFP Recommendations) dated May 4, 2018. Please clarify the 5 year warranty specific to hardened structures and equipment provided. A. Bidder shall provide details regarding what is covered in the 5 year warranty required. JFL to discuss with PM and PA additional requirements that might like to include. Please clarify what you consider training for maintenance services. A. Bidder shall provide training to the JFL employees that will include but will not be limited to maitanance requirements for the THS utilities, building systems and interior/exterior finishes and equipment. JFL to discuss with PM and PA additional requirements that might like to include. 5. What is the wind load required for the temporary buildings? A. THS design shall comply with all applicable codes and regulations stablished for USVI. 6. Please clarify what is to be done about the trees around the perimeter of the site. A. As per last week’s meeting with FEMA, JFL, Witt and CMA, trees will remain if possible. 7. Section J-7 of the RFP states that ‘one (1) original and five (4) copy sets of proposal..." A. One (1) Original and five (5) copy sets of proposal) 8. To all potential bidders, you must complete the operating room section, and have them fully operational prior to the removal of the temporary Operating Room trailers that will be in Place. All other terms and conditions remain the same. A copy of this amendment must be returned with your bid.
