GOVERNMENT OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES PUBLIC SERVICES COMMISSION IN RE: ) ) THE VIRGIN ISLANDS WATER and POWER ) Docket No. 620 AUTHORITY AVOIDED COST STUDY ) Order No. 07/2014 ORDER WHEREAS, on May 15, 2013, the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (““WAPA” or the “Authority’’) filed with the Public Services Commission (“PSC” or “Commission”) Petitions for the Electric and Water Departments for the period of July 1 to September 30, 2013; and WHEREAS, in Order No. 50/2013 the Commission ordered that WAPA file supporting documentation associated with its avoided cost study; and WHEREAS, on September 24, 2013, the Commission met in regular public session in the its offices on both St. Thomas and St. Croix; WHEREAS, upon review and deliberation the Commission voted to appoint Attorney Andrew C. Simpson as Hearing Examiner to preside over the proceedings for Docket 620: WAPA’s Avoided Cost Study; and
