ACTNO. 8417 BILL NO. 33-0454 THIRTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2020 An Act recognizing the musical talents and contribution of Maestro Gylchris Sprauve; and amending title 1 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 7 by adding section 104a to designate the musical composition Valiant Virgin Isles as the Centennial Anthem of the Virgin Islands ---0--- WHEREAS, Gylchris A. Sprauve is a pianist and organist, tenor, linguist, researcher, musical Ambassador, and a proud son of the soil; and WHEREAS, Gylchris Sprauve was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the second son of Candace Smith-Sprauve of Tortola, British Virgin Island and the late Guilderoy A.
