The following sums, or so much thereof as may be necessary, are hereby appropriated out of any available funds in the Treasury of the Virgin Islands in the fiscal year October 1, 1998 to September 30, 1999 to the Virgin Islands Board of Education for the purposes specified below: Salaries and all other operating expenses of the Virgin Islands Board of Education FUND 115000 GENERAL FUND OOON OA GA WN = oh ONO UK WD = OUR WONRBRODAANA UYU KRWN—= OO © ~ FUND 115000 GENERAL FUND ORG 0900 BOARD OF EDUCATION PERSONAL SERVICES UNCLASSIFIED CLASSIFIED ALL OTHER EXPENSES SUBTOTAL SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated out of any available funds in the Treasury of the Virgin Islands for fiscal year October 1, 1998 to September 30, 1999, the sum of $310,300 to the Virgin Islands Board of Education for scholarship grants made pursuant to Title 17, Section 172, Virgin Islands Code, as follows: Morris F. deCastro Fellowship Terrence A. There is hereby appropriated out of any available funds in the Treasury of the Virgin Islands for the fiscal year October 1, 1998 to September 30, 1999, the sum of $349,727 to the Virgin Islands Board of Education as a contribution to the Territorial Scholarship Fund. SECTION 5. The Virgin Islands Board of Education is authorized to use un- awarded and unexpended special legislative grants for fiscal year 1998 for the Territorial Scholarship Fund in fiscal year 1999. The Board of Education shall submit a list of un- awarded and unexpended grants to the Legislature not later than 30 days after the enactment of this act.
