Officers conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle where the driver, identified as Jahreem McIntosh, was asked to produce his driver’s license and vehicle documents. Mr. McIntosh was subsequently ordered out of the vehicle and asked if he had anything of concern on his person and he stated “I have something on me, while pointing to the right side of his waistband. Mr. Jahreem McIntosh immediately lifted his hands in the air exposing the handle of what appeared to be a black handgun tucked in his waistband. The handgun was safely removed from his waistband. Mr. Jahreem McIntosh, age 36, was immediately placed under arrest and charged with Carrying of a Firearm; Openly or Concealed, Possession of Ammunition, Failure to Register a firearm. Bail was set at $50,000.00. Unable to post bail, Mr. McIntosh was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his Advice of Rights Hearing. ###
