ACTNO, %O17 BILL NO. 27-0189 TWENTY-SEVENTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2008 An Act authorizing the Government of the Virgin Islands to negotiate the exchange of Parcels Nos. 1-26, 13-65 and 13D and 13G Sion Hill St. Croix for Parcel No. 1 Remainder Estate Rattan, St. Croix ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. The Governor may through the Department of Property and Procurement negotiate with the owner of Parcels Nos.1-26, consisting of 2.21 U.S. acres; 13-65, consisting of .26 U.S. acres; 13 D, consisting of .812 U.S. acres, and 13G consisting of 3.564 U.S acres, Estate Sion Hill, St. Croix the exchange and transfer of these parcels for Parcel No.1 Estate Rattan, St. Croix consisting of no more than six U. S. acres. The real property transferred to the Government must be used to create a buffer between the boundary line of the Village-Partners in Recovery and the housing development. Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on August 22, 2008. …
