Office of the Commissioner February 7, 2024 PUBLIC NOTICE Commissioner Jean-Pierre L. Oriol of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources informs the public that the following St. Thomas Coastal Zone Management (CZM) Committee Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 13, 2024, at 4:00 pm. This meeting will be held via the video conferencing platform Microsoft Teams. The agenda is as follows: Public Hearing (public testimony will be heard) Federal Consistency Determination No. CZM0001-24 Virgin Islands Department of Housing (VIHA) requests permission to use FEMA Funds to replace the TuTu Senior Community Center. The project scope will include demolition and new construction. The proposed project will include the demolition and removal of seven buildings including one two-story and six one story commercial masonry buildings and structures. The project is located on site 388A and 402 Anna’s Retreat, St Thomas, Virgin Islands 00801. The proposed project site is located seaward of Plot No. 62 Estate Honduras, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. Decision Meeting (testimony will not be heard) Major Coastal Zone Management Permit No. CZT-5-03(W) YHUSVI Marina, LLC proposes the re-design of a portion of Phase II of the Marina, and its construction and dredging at Yacht Haven Grande. The proposed project is located on Marina Area A-4 Long Bay St. Thomas Harbor, St. Thomas Virgin Islands. Decision Meeting (testimony will not be heard) Major Coastal Zone Management Permit No. CZT-7-18(W) Virgin Islands Port Authority- Charlotte Amalie Dredging proposes a change in dredge volume to 216,173 cubic yards, minor expansion of dredging footprint of turning basin and modification of disposal area to include disposal in St. Croix at the bottom pit north of the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport.
