The project scope of work will involve removal of the current mix of old bricks and installing the salvaged historic Chicago bricks in a flat-set consistent pattern to eliminate tripping hazards by creating a level walking surface. 2. HPC-30-2025 Dronningens Gade 58A, Kongens Quarter Garden Bar and Restaurant, Sherwin Rey Design review for historic Rehabilitation of a small masonry historic building for use as a bar and restaurant, construction of a small building to house new kitchen and bathroom for the restaurant, restoration of a small wooden cottage, installation of new perimeter wall with iron fence, general hardscape and landscape improvements. 6. HPC-31-2025 Nordsidevej 13, Dronningens Quarter Boys and Girls Club, Harnel International LLC for VI Housing Finance Authority Proposal for exterior restoration, construction of new ADA parking space with accessible walkways in the building, reconstruction of the building’s existing roof, window and door openings, interior floors, and stabilization and restoration of interior walls. 7. HPC-32-2025 Kongens Gade 3A and 3BA, Kongens Quarter Alcenta De Windt and Myron D. Jackson Request for partial demolition of non-historic concrete building addition on the historic townhouse. This is a high priority project, as the concrete addition is failing due to rusting of the structural steel reinforcement in the concrete walls, slabs, and columns. The historic building’s walls will not be affected by this demolition work. The intension is to remove the non-historic features in preparation for rebuilding the 2017 Hurricanes damaged second floor level of the townhouse and to provide off-street parking for the property. 8. HPC-33-2025 Dronningens Gade 18, Dronningens Quarter Crystal Blue Operations, Chad Voight Design review on the installation of a concealed generator, erection of a new historically appropriate enclosure, replacement of awning, and installation of a safety rail between the sidewalk and the street. 9. HPC-2-2022 Norre Gade 4B, Kongens Quarter White Bay Group LLC, Logan Brown Design review for window and door shutters design modification and installation.
