ACT NO.6420 BILL NO. 24-0030 TWENTY-FOURTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Regular Session 2001 To amend title 29, chapter 16, section 945, Virgin Islands Code, pertaining to notices to persons on the eligibility list for affordable housing and for other purposes ---0)--- BE IT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 29, chapter 16, section 945, subsection (a), paragraph (2), Virgin Islands Code, is amended by designating the existing language as subparagraph (A), by inserting “quarterly” after “notify” and by adding subparagraph (B) to read as follows: “(B) The Project Manager shall notify any person determined to be eligible for affordable housing under this chapter by certified mail within ninety days after the date the eligibility determination is made.” _ SECTION 2. The Governor may negotiate with ALCOA for the use of the desalination and electrical generating facilities at VALCO on the island of St. Croix. SECTION 3.
