CROIX, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS ^ _ 115590 Activities Conducted During Reporting Period • Former Process Pit (FPP) Area: - drilled and installed 3 out of 4 intermediate (15 feet bgs) vapor monitoring points (VMPs) - drilled and installed 2 out of 3 shallow (5 feet bgs) VMPs - currently installing air sparging (AS) well to a total depth of 48 feet bgs (as discussed with CDMFederal) • AST Area: - drilled/logged/screened and installed 2 deep (30 feet bgs) VMPs - drilled and installed all shallow and intermediate VMPs • Other Site Activities clearing for installation of Site fence completed - fence materials have arrived on the island - McLaren/Hart working with Caribbean Hydro-Tech and on-island surveyor to verify property boundary markers for initiation of fence installation work Deviations/Encountered Difficulties • No deviations fi'om the EPA-approved Workplan documented. …

Projected Activities for Remainder of Week (2/22/00 through 2/25/00) • 2122 - drill and install last shallow and intermediate VMPs in FPP Area • 2/22 - drill/log/screen (25 to 50 feet bgs) and install AS well in AST Area • 2/23 - drill/log/screen and install last two deep VMPs in AST Area • 2/24 - drill and install groundwater monitoring points (GMPs) in FFP and AST Areas • 2/25 - complete all grouting and clean Site, begin demobilization of drilling equipment Project Schedule The projected schedule submitted on January 19, 2000 is consistent with work completed to date. Well and monitoring point installation work is anticipated to be completed on February 25**". Scheduled activities for the next few weeks is consistent with the January 19* submittal and include; SVE/AS System Connection - piping work will begin the week of February 28"* and continue through March 10^. The system will be installed during the week of March 6^ cth Baseline sampling will commence on March 6* and continue through March 10*. Phase I Testing (SVE only) is scheduled to start on March 13*. 305320
