Johnson, Alma Francis Heyliger and Milton E. Potter Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: 1 SECTION 1. Title 17 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 5, section 41, subsection c is 2 amended as follows: 3 (a) Paragraph (1), as amended by Act No. 8684, is stricken and a new paragraph (1) is 4 inserted to read as follows: 5 “(1) The history of the Virgin Islands and basic Caribbean history, such courses 6 to be part of the curriculum in elementary and secondary schools.” 7 (b) Paragraph (3) is amended by striking “Family” and inserting “Drug prevention and 8 substance education, family” and after “education” by striking “and substance abuse.” 9 BILL SUMMARY 10 This bill repeals Act No. …
