The internship will average one hour per day, five hours per week for the 15 weeks of the semester (75 hours total) and cover experiences relevant to the coursework of that semester. The plan is that students would register for 3 credits Internship in the Fall, but they would receive an I with the understanding with the Records Office that the students’ grade would come at the end of the spring semester. This would be repeated for fall and spring of year two for a total of 6 credits and 300 hours of internship experiences. Year 1 will satisfy the requirements for Internship 1 and year 2 will satisfy the requirements for Internship II. The six credits incorporating Internship I and Internship II may be accelerated to be completed in a shorter period with an internship schedule approved by the MA Educational Leadership Program Director. This schedule will show the completion of the required minimum of 300 hours of internship over the stipulated period.
