e @ Publication. ¥T is hereby made known that the A Horge, Carriage and Beat Tax will be pavalkle, for the second ha.f vear 1924, at the Police Offices in Christiansted and Frederiksted from July 20, 1924 to August 10, 1924, both days included. Parties remaining in arrears fcr this tax after Avgust 10, 1924, will be subject to a fine of Fres. 1.00 i the tax be under Fres. 25.00 and Fres. 2.00 if the tax be Fres. 25.00 or over, besides the ordinary levy €xXpensces. The tax-lists will be distributed by the Police and are to be correcily filled out in conformity with Oidinance of February 22, 18563 and returned to the respeetive Police Cliices within 483 hours in the tewrs and 4 days in the country districts.
