GOVERNMENT OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES PUBLIC SERVICES COMMISSION Docket No. 657 Order No. 84/2016 IN RE: APPLICATION OF MOBILITIE MANAGEMENT, LLC ) FOR AUTHORIZATION TO OPERATE AS A ) TELECOMMUNICATIONS PROVIDER THE USVI ) _) ORDER WHEREAS, on April 26, 2016, the Mobilitie Management, LLC (hereinafter “Mobilitie”) submitted an Application seeking authorization to operate as a telecommunications service provider within the United States Virgin Islands (hereinafter “USVI”) to the Virgin Islands Public Services Commission (hereinafter “PSC” or “Commission”); and WHEREAS, on August 22, 2016, the PSC received a Report from its technical consultants, Georgetown Consulting Group, Inc.; and WHEREAS, the Commission heard testimony from its staff and Mobilitie; and WHEREAS, on August 23, 2016, the Commission held a Special Meeting in both its offices on St. Thomas and St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands and via video and teleconference; and WHEREAS, on upon review and deliberation, the Commission voted APPROVE Mobilitie’s Application for authorization to operate as a telecommunications provider in the USVI, and NOW, THEREFORE, the Commission APPROVES the Petition of Mobilitie Management, LLC for authorization to operate as a telecommunications provider within the United States Virgin Islands.
