After hearing both sides, the court adjourned until Saturday when sentence will be given. —The Bulletin, Novem- ber 24th. A select gatherjng of fricnds witness ed the marriage geremony of Miss Ma- ria Brown to Mr. Rando!ph Lanclos at the Lutheran Chureh last evening. The bridz, graeceful in her bridai robe, was accompanied by her father, the groom by kis cousin Mi. Hubert Lanclos. Af- ter the ceremony the guests repaired to their home where a reception was held in honor of the occasion. This is the first marriage ceremony performed by the Rev. “hristensen since his appointment. The ‘‘Bulletin’’ offers its congratula- tions. The Bulletin, November 26th. Advices from Porto Rico state that the Money Order Chief in San Juan P. R. is reported to have stolen $14,000 in money orders during the last four years. We wonder how many persons in St. Thomas have been victims through this man betraying his trust. —The Bulletin, Nov. 27th. While at work dredging the narrow part of the Haul over one Edwin Mit chell was taken by the tide and was partly drowned. He was picked up by the Marine boat and brought ashore and conveyed to the Municipal Hospital where he died shortly afterwards.—lbid.
