Act No. 6346 VIRGIN [ISLANDS SESSION LAWS 2000 No. 6346 (BILL NO. 23-0211) (Approved March 24, 2000) To amend Act No. 6335 to reprogram monies from the Internal Revenue Matching Fund; to appropriate monies for repairs to public schools; to appropriate monies to the Department of Education and the Department of Public Works; and to appropriate monies to the Government Insurance Fund; to establish a Public Transportation Fund; and for other related purposes Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Act No. 6335 (Bill No. 23-0193) enacted December 30, 1999, is amended in Section 16 by deleting the figure “$5,300,000” and inserting in lieu thereof the figure “$2,300,000”. SECTION 2. There is hereby authorized to be transferred from the Asset Recovery Fund to the General Fund, and appropriated therefrom the sum of $3,000,000 for the purpose of maintenance of and repairs to the following schools for the fiscal year ending September 80, 2000: Elena L. Christian Junior High School, Claude O. Markoe Elementary School and Arthur A. Richards Junior High School. …
