LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS CERTIFICATE OF ENACTMENT NOTWITHSTANDING THE GOVERNOR’S VETO THIS IS TO CERTFY THAT Bill No. 29-0233, An Act amending title 3 Virgin Islands Code to add a new section creating “The Virgin Islands Government Transparency Act”, enacted by the Twenty-Ninth Legislature at its regular session on August 21, 2012, (a copy of which is attached hereto) and vetoed by the Governor on September 11, 2012, was duly enacted, by override, by the Twenty-Ninth Legislature at its regular session on September 17, 2012, pursuant to section 9(d) of the Revised Organic Act of the Virgin Islands, 48 U.S.C. §1575 (d), notwithstanding the Governor’s veto and has become law.
